Blinddog Smokin’, dubbed “America’s Road Warriors” by Southland Blues Magazine and Grammy nominee for Best Blues Album, was live in concert at the Bear Bottom in Centennial, Wyoming on August 14th, 2021. This band is not to be missed live and at a time played up to 320 shows a year. They are an OffBeat and Blues Blast Music award winning band for best soul blues album and always put on an amazing show.

This particular show was a special one since Carl was officially given the ‘Funky Ol Man’ award to celebrate his 75th birthday! They played their hit song ‘Funky Ol Man’ afterward and Carl officially proved that he still has all his dance moves and stylish ‘pimp shoes’ to go along with it.

The band has been playing for about 30 years and currently includes singer/harpist Carl Gustafson, Guitarist Chalo Ortiz, keyboardist Mo Beeks, bassist Roland Pritzker, drummer/vocalist Chicago Chuck Gullens, percussionist/saxophonist Fabian Antonio Chavez, and Angel Adams and Linda Gustafson as backing vocalists.

Definitely don’t miss these guys when they play in your town as they put on an energy packed live show that will get you dancing.

Pick up one of their albums and be on the look out for what this blues band from Laramie, Wyoming is coming out with next.
