TOPIC:  “The Journey of the Creative Solopreneur”
  • Learn the tools you need to grow your creative business
  • Go over the steps to build and develop your brand
  • See how you can use photography to your benefit

Allison Pluda, the owner of Seneca Creek Studios, is a professional artist, scientist, and solopreneur.  She started Seneca Creek Studios, her fine art nature and portrait photography business, back in 2007 on the side while pursuing a degree in geology.  After finishing her master’s degree and working full time she quit her corporate job in the middle of the winter of 2014 to pursue her passion of photography as a full-time career.  Since then, Allison has rapidly grown her photography business and now has a brick and mortar studio in downtown Laramie, Wyoming.  She applies the analytical and problem solving skills she learned as a scientist along with the management and planning skills she learned as an environmental consultant to the business skills she uses to run her full time creative career.  Whether it’s nature photography, portraiture, website design, artist management, business headshots, project management, social media, branding marketing, advertising , research and development, work life balance, self-value,  teaching, or camping gear, Allison has a unique skill set that she hopes to use to help others, as Thoreau said best, “go confidently in the direction of your dreams.  Live the life you imagined.”
