Seneca Creek Studio’s Holiday Market Specials

You are invited to a FREE art show and sale as part of the University of Wyoming’s Holiday Market on Friday, November 30th, 2018 from 9am to 4pm at the University of Wyoming’s Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts located at 1000 East University Ave, Laramie, Wyoming. Stop by to enter to win our MINI METAL GIVEAWAY and meet the artist! Laramie based nature and portrait photographer and fellow University of Wyoming alumni Allison Pluda, owner of Seneca Creek Studios will have a booth featuring local nature and landscape fine art metal prints, Snowy Range Mountains panoramic peak prints, greeting cards, archival matted prints, and gift prints for sale. There will also be lots of other vendors selling local and handmade items available including jellies and jams, jewelry and accessories, wooden crafts, candles, soaps and lotions, baked goods, children’s books, free range meat, alpaca items, and more!

We will be offering complimentary FREE SHIPPING on all print orders placed during the show IN PERSON OR ONLINE. About the Market

Nearly 50 vendors will sell a wide assortment of products at the University of Wyoming Holiday Market Friday, Nov. 30. Staff Senate sponsors the market, which runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts. The event is free and open to the public.

This year’s market will feature local vendors who will offer a variety of items for sale, including homemade craft items, handmade soaps and lotions, jewelry, baked goods, housewares, local meats, and wood and textile crafts.

Staff Senate will sell tickets to its fall meat raffle and holiday cash 50/50 raffle. The proceeds will support staff scholarships, the Employee of the Quarter program and other staff activities.

In addition, the Wyoming Center on Aging will host its 2018 Santa for a Senior tree at the market. Attendees can stop by the tree to learn more about the program.

UW President Laurie Nichols has granted two hours of release time for UW employees to attend the market. The scheduling of release time should be a collaborative discussion between employee and supervisor to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the unit.

The Buchanan Center is located by the Law School off of Willett Drive. Take 22nd St to Willett Drive and go past Arena Auditorium turn into the parking lot. The Buchanan Center will be in front of you after you pull into the parking lot. Free parking will be available in “A” and “C” spaces in the lots directly north and east of the Performing Arts Center from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Metered parking also will be available.
